What is the purpose of GO BLUE?
GO BLUE Student of the Month is a way to recognize students who have shown the Blue Devil values of Grit, Ownership, Belonging, Lifelong Learning, Understanding and/or Engagement. Students are nominated by school staff. Each month we will highlight a specific Blue Devil Value, beginning with Grit.
After nominations are received, two students will be selected per grade level. Students will be called down to the office where they will be recognized by Mr. Schumacher. They'll receive a postcard describing their success, a certificate of achievement and a GO BLUE t-shirt. Their picture will be taken and displayed on the Wa-Hi website
¿Cuál es el propósito de GO BLUE?
GO BLUE Student of the Month es una forma de reconocer a los estudiantes que han demostrado los valores Blue Devil de firmeza de carácter, asumir responsabilidad, pertenencia, ser un aprendiz de por vida, comprensión y/o enfoque. Los estudiantes son nominados por el personal de la escuela. Cada mes destacaremos un Valor Blue Devil específico, comenzando con Grit.
Después de que se reciban las nominaciones, se seleccionarán dos estudiantes por nivel de grado. Los estudiantes serán llamados a la oficina donde serán reconocidos por el Sr. Schumacher. Recibirán una postal que describe su éxito, un certificado de logros y una camiseta GO BLUE. Se tomará su fotografía y se mostrará en el sitio web de Wa-Hi.
