FPS Meeting

Are you a creative writer? Love to write? If so, join us on October 25 at 2 p.m. in room A12 for the FPS club scenario writers meeting.



The ASVAB is being given on Monday, October 30th, from 7:30-10:30am in the Wa-Hi Library. The ASVAB is a vocational aptitude test that is administered by the military. All 10th-12th grade students can sign up for this free test! Military enlistment is not a requirement. The sign up sheet is available in the counseling office. If you have questions, please see Mrs. Lujan.


College and Career Fair

Oct. 23 - Wa-Hi College and Career Fair in the large gym. Students in grades 9-12 will attend with their English classes. 20 colleges, 22 businesses, 5 military branches and SEATech will all have representatives there ready to talk with you. Businesses and apprenticeship programs will share how to get hired and what you can do in high school to prepare. Colleges will share their degree programs, admission and financing information. Whatever your plan is for after high school you will find good information at the Fair.
Oct. 23 - Gym Parking Lot Alert! Gym parking on Oct. 23rd will be limited due to the College and Career Fair. Plan to carpool and allow extra time to find alternate parking.
