Students qualify for WIBC

Seven students from the Wa-Hi Wind Ensemble were selected to perform in the 2016 Western International Band Clinic (WIBC) after submitting MP3 auditions.

WIBC is an honor band festival with four concert bands composed of students from across the northwest. There are approximately 150-165 members in each band, and around 650 total slots available.

The students who were selected to participate are:
Jena Peterson - Freshman Clarinet, first time attending
Tommy Kaminsky - Freshman Flute, first time attending
Ezekiel Thompson - Sophomore Tuba, first time attending
Keeli McKern - Sophomore Clarinet, second time attending
Stella Gryler - Senior  Trombone, third time attending
Renee Heller - Senior Clarinet, third time attending
Hannah Cabasco - Senior Clarinet, fourth time attending

WIBC will take place in Seattle from Nov. 18 through Nov. 21.
