Principal Darcy Weisner accepted a superintendent position for the Clarkston School District. 

Weisner will leave his current position after four years in the district. "From the moment I came to Wa-Hi in 2006, I believed that the real strength of the Walla Walla Public Schools was in its exceptionally able and talented staff," Weisner said in an e-mail correspondence. 

New superintendent Mick Miller will be advising the staff on June 10 as to how the position will be filled.

Weisner will be missed, but once a Blue Devil, always a Blue Devil.
