Three teams from the Future Problem Solving (FPS) club have qualified for the state bowl:

--Seniors Will Bergstrom, Emma Burgess, Denali Molitor and Anna Tupper-Bridges.

--Sophomores Mac Clifton, Gregg Heller, Sean Hollenbeck and Aaron Gogl.

--Freshmen Teagan Coleman, Julia Cosma, Rob Miller and Carrie Moore.

The competition will be held in Stanwood, Wash., on April 7-9. Teams that place among the top one or two teams at state will continue to the international competition in La Crosse, Wis., from June 10-13.

In addition, Cosma qualified for the international competition in scenario writing with her story entitled "Clock." The story is based on the topic "Sensory Overload," one of the several futuristic topics about which teams were required to write.
