Running Start Students
Important Dates for Juniors and Seniors
May 4th, 11:30 - 1:00: Senior announcements delivered in the Auditorium Lobby.
May 25th, 7:00 am - 1:00 pm: Cap and gown delivery in the Auditorium Lobby. Please note that all fines and fees must be paid before cap and gowns are issued.

RUNNING START OVERVIEW
Juniors and seniors have the opportunity to enroll in the "Running Start" program at Walla Walla Community College. Applicants must score at college level on the WWCC entrance exam, the ASSET Test or COMPASS.
Students may earn both high school credits toward graduation and transferable college credit or vocational credit simultaneously. Regular tuition is incurred by Walla Walla School District. However, ALL FEES, COSTS FOR TEXTBOOKS AND MATERIALS WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE STUDENT.

A bulletin, announcing parent meetings in the spring for those interested, will be sent to the homes of all sophomores and juniors. Application and advising process must be completed at the Community College before enrolling for classes.
