<p>The annual Walla Walla County Fair began on Sept. 1 and ends on Sept. 5.</p>
<p>Entertainment highlights consist of country musician Gary Allen performing on Sept. 1 at 7 p.m., the demolition derby crushing cars on Sept. 2 at 6 p.m., Pari Mutuel Horse Racing making their marks Sept. 3-5 at 1 p.m., and the PRCA Rodeo (Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association) competing on Sept. 3-5 beginning at 7 p.m.</p>
<p>Among these activities some members of FFA are showing animals. Multiple entrees will be showcased in the pavilion and other areas of the fair.</p>
<p>Along with competitive entrees, vendors will be selling food and merchandise. Game booths will be available, and rides will make your time worthwhile.</p>
<p>Admission prices are $7 for adults (ages 14 and up), $3 for children (ages 6 to 13), and children under 5 are free.</p>

<p>The annual first frolic of the year is this Friday, August 27 from 8 to 11 p.m.</p>
<p>The Luau, a tropical themed dance sponsored by the ASB, will take place in the academic courtyard.</p>
<p>To attend, students will pay $3 with an ASB card and $5 without.</p>
<p>"Meet new students, have a good time, meet your new ASB Cabinet Members, hang out, professional DJ, and weather should be perfect," ASB adviser Arch McHie said.</p>
<p>Recently the ASB Leadership students have worked with the administrative staff to create the behavior expectations for dances this year.</p>
<p>Dance rules are as follows:<br />1. No making out.<br />2. No freaking, excessive grinding, dirty dancing, etc.<br />3. No moshing, slamming, etc.<br />4. No body surfing, piggy back, etc.<br />5. No bending and backing it up.<br />6. Have your ID to get through the line faster.</p>
<p>Students must sign a sheet agreeing to the rules before entering the dance. If a student breaks a rule, the student will call his or her parents before leaving.</p>
