TWO FOR ONE POLICY 2019-2020 Course Catalog

Career and Technical Education (CTE): A variety of subjects and programs are available in these vocational-technical areas: Agriculture Education, Business Education, Family and Consumer Science, Health Sciences, Military Science, Skilled and Technical Sciences, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). Juniors and Seniors may also pursue Career and Technical education course offerings through the WWPS SEATech program and the WWCC Running Start program. Vocational Technical courses at Walla Walla High School can enhance both post high school educational pursuits and life long career objectives.

Dual Credit Courses: There are several courses, in specific Career and Technical education, where a student can earn both high school and college credit at the same time. These courses are indicated throughout this course catalog as "Dual Credit" courses. Students who complete the courses with a grade of "B" or better and meet the requirements of the articulated course from the college granting the credit can earn Community/Technical college credit. See pages 15-29 for Dual Credit opportunities at Walla Walla High School, Walla Walla Community College and other colleges. Fees may apply.

Southeast Area Technical Skills Center (SEATech): Junior and Senior students enrolled at the Skills Center will receive 1.5 credits per semester for each program completed. Students will be expected to take at least three classes at Wa-Hi while enrolled at the Skills Center. Course offerings and their descriptions are on pages 67-70. Students who are interested in any of these programs should contact their high school counselor for more detailed information.
