Welcome to Wa-Hi Athletic Training!

Wa-Hi athletic training provides injury prevention and management services to all Wa-Hi athletes. The goal is to follow the "AT for All" motto and cover all home events, regardless of level, away varstiy football games, as well as practices for all sports on campus. The athletic training room is located in the big gym next to the wrestling room.


Athletic trainers (ATs) are nationally certified, state licensed health care professionals who collaborate with physicians in prevention, emergency care, clinical diagnosis, therepeutic intervention, and rehabilitation of injuries and illnesses. Some great resources for parents and athletes on a variety of topics: Check out the The Concussion Blog for information on concussions and a host of other resources. The Taylor Hooton Foundation provides information on steroid use that is directed towards the high school population. For information on preventing sudden death in sport, with a focus on heat illness, check out the Korey Stringer Institute.
